✓ Duct for tendons: In post-tensioned concrete the tendons run in corrugated steel strip ducts. After stressing, the duct is grouted; the corrugation provides the bond with the concrete.
✓ Standardised: EN 523 sets the requirements for steel strip sheaths and their couplers, EN 524 the test methods. EN 523 applies to seamed or welded sheaths up to 130 mm nominal inside diameter.
✓ Couplers inline: The SR 200-T2 produces short duct couplers on the same machine.
✓ Flat for slabs: With the ovalizer (option) you produce flat ducts 70 × 21 mm and 85 × 21 mm, including matching couplers.

How the pipe is made

1 Strip infeed Flat steel strip runs from the decoiler through the strip guide.
2 Profiling The profiling cassette forms the corrugation; a lubrication bath with coolant-oil mixture lubricates the strip.
3 Winding and seaming Pressure and guide rollers wind the strip around the mandrel and close the seam.
4 Cutting The automatic saw cuts the pipe during running production, from 0.30 to 150 m length.
